Job Summary
Prep Cook responsible for washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables and proteins to recipe specs; maintaining food safety standards including temperature logging; stocking and rotating stations; assisting with deliveries; keeping prep areas clean; supporting line cooks and communicating clearly with the kitchen team. Must have 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred, solid knife skills, knowledge of food safety practices, and a food handler certification. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs; reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Full-time and part-time roles with flexible scheduling are available at Cotton Patch Cafe in Texas, with opportunities for training and advancement, and a strong emphasis on hospitality and quality.
