Job Summary
Prep Cook needed at Cotton Patch Cafe to support scratch-made Texas favorites. Responsibilities include washing, peeling, cutting and portioning vegetables and proteins to recipe specs; following food safety standards and temperature logging; stocking and rotating stations; assisting with deliveries; keeping prep areas clean; and supporting line cooks while communicating with the kitchen team. Must have solid knife skills, knowledge of food safety practices, and a food handler certification; capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs; 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred. Flexible scheduling with both full-time and part-time opportunities, paid training, and advancement opportunities are available.
Required Qualifications

- 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred (restaurant, catering, or institutional)

- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
