Job Summary
Prep Cook at Cotton Patch Cafe responsible for washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables and proteins to recipe specs; following food safety standards including temperature logging; stocking and rotating stations before service; assisting with receiving deliveries; keeping prep areas and equipment clean; supporting line cooks during service and communicating with the kitchen team. Requires 1–2 years kitchen experience preferred, solid knife skills, knowledge of food safety practices, and food handler certification; able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred (restaurant, catering, or institutional)
- Food handler certification required
