Job Summary
Prep Cook needed at Cotton Patch Cafe to wash, peel, cut, and portion vegetables and proteins to recipe specs; maintain sanitation and temperature logging; stock and rotate stations; assist with deliveries; support line cooks and communicate with the kitchen team. 1–2 years kitchen experience preferred, knife skills, and food safety knowledge required with a Food Handler certification. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible scheduling available as full-time or part-time; opportunities for training and advancement; strong teamwork and hospitality encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred (restaurant, catering, or institutional)
- Solid knife skills and comfort with basic cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Food handler certification required
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
