Job Summary
Prep Cook responsibilities include washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables and proteins to recipe specs; following food safety standards and logging temperatures; stocking and rotating stations; assisting with receiving deliveries; keeping prep areas and equipment clean; supporting line cooks and communicating with the kitchen team. Must have 1–2 years of kitchen experience (restaurant/catering/institution), solid knife skills, knowledge of food safety practices, ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable, punctual, team-oriented work ethic.
