Job Summary
Prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables and other items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment; refer to Daily Prep List for assigned duties; follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules; maintain a clean and sanitary work station and close procedures; lift up to 75 pounds; attend meetings; report equipment and product shortages to Kitchen Manager; use Standard Recipe Card for all preparations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year kitchen prep/cooking experience
- At least 6 months experience in similar capacity
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and kitchen personnel
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 75 pounds
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
- Uses Standard Recipe Card and follows standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
