Job Summary
The Prep Cook follows recipe specifications to prepare high-quality food, completes daily prep lists, and keeps line cook stations stocked. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing equipment, maintaining utensils, and working in a fast-paced kitchen as part of a team. Requires basic English reading skills, strong attention to detail, knowledge of weights/measurements/volume and cooking procedures, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. 6 months restaurant experience is preferred. The role is based in New York, NY (Times Square area) and is full-time with duties centered in kitchen prep and station maintenance.
