Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and refurbish used commercial mowing and turf equipment to meet safety, quality, and performance standards; perform engine, driveline, hydraulic, electrical, deck, and cutting-system repairs; complete safety checks, document condition reports and repair recommendations, maintain service records, and collaborate with management to prioritize units for resale; operate and maintain tools and equipment as required in a shop environment; work as part of a team to successfully complete jobs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree (2yr.) or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Gas and diesel engines, Hydraulic systems, and Electrical diagnostics
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Time management and prioritization skills
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Experience with service documentation and record-keeping
- Safety-conscious work practices
