PreOp/PACU RN

Review preoperative and postoperative physician orders, obtain patient medical history, and perform comprehensive assessments while anticipating care issues through clinical judgment. Coordinate with anesthesia and surgery teams to ensure required preoperative care is completed and prevent surgical delays. Administer IV solutions and medications safely, perform preoperative diagnostic procedures, and demonstrate competency in phlebotomy, specimen collection, and EKGs. Complete accurate admission, discharge, and physician order documentation while maintaining patient records and providing clear perioperative education. Requires a Texas RN license with two years of Pre-op/PACU experience, BLS & ACLS certification, and same-day pay options.
