Job Summary
Preop/PACU/Circulating OR Nurse for on-site vascular surgical center. Conduct preoperative assessments and patient interviews, monitor patients post-surgery in PACU, circulate within the OR to assist the surgical team, ensure equipment and supplies are ready, maintain patient care records, advise on postoperative care, ensure OR and recovery room sterilization, collaborate with healthcare professionals on postoperative plans, and uphold patient confidentiality. On-site role in Mesa, AZ with no weekends, no call, paid holidays, and no night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license with a focus on surgical nursing
- Minimum of 2 years experience in preoperative, PACU, or circulating roles within an OR setting
- Exceptional clinical skills and knowledge of sterilization techniques and OR protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interactions with patients, family, and staff
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain before hire
