Job Summary
Work in a safety and quality focused team environment to perform various assembly processes for water pumps. Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and gages while adhering to contamination control guidelines and print reading skills. Reference work instructions, prints, and perform data entry using computer systems including MES, BIQ, Pinpoint, and Epix. Move parts using overhead cranes, hoists, and electric pallet jacks while following production schedules and Built-in Safety guidelines. Operate in a climate controlled environment without close supervision, cross-training in cleaning, disassembly, and logistics roles.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data)
- Required to read/write and interpret documents
- Must be able to lift/push/pull heavy parts up to 30 lbs. multiple times per shift
- Must be able to stand for up to 10+ hours per shift
- Must be able to wear proper PPE
- Must be able to handle high volume fast paced operation
- May require utilizing overhead cranes/hoists, and/or electric pallet jack to move parts in and out of area
- Must pass the following pre-employment screenings: Background Screening, Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Must pass Post-Offer Medical Questionnaire - clearance from Corporate Medical Check
- Any current agency workers applying to this position must have worked the required 300 hours

- Must be available for 2nd shift (3PM-1AM Monday - Thursday)
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused team environment
- Will require print reading skills and quality checks, as defined by standard work
- Will use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, gages, hoists, presses, and other tools as necessary
- Will be required to follow production schedules
- Will be required to utilize various computer systems including MES, BIQ, Pinpoint and Epix to reference work instructions, prints and perform data entry
- Operator should have attention to detail and be self-motivated
- Operator is expected to cross train in other areas of operations
- Candidate will work in an environment without close supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Prior use of hoists
- Knowledge of engines and components
- Experience with assembly /disassembly tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, etc)
