Premium Services Engineer

Job Summary
Provide advanced premium technical support for HPE Aruba WLAN solutions, including Access Points, Mobility Gateways, ClearPass, AirWave, and Aruba Central. Perform wireless troubleshooting, RF analysis, and root cause analysis for complex network security and management issues. Assist with RF design activities, site surveys, and capacity planning to ensure optimal coverage. Manage critical customer escalations, coordinate with engineering for issue resolution, and contribute to knowledge base articles and process improvements. Mentor junior engineers and participate in customer technical review meetings. Flexible to work on weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Typically 4–7 years of experience in enterprise networking and/or WLAN environments
- Advanced English Level
- Strong knowledge of HPE Aruba WLAN technologies, including HPE Aruba APs, controllers/gateways, and Aruba Central
- Understanding of IEEE 802.11 fundamentals, RF concepts, and wireless security principles (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X)
- Strong knowledge of RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, AAA, and NAC architectures
- Experience troubleshooting 802.1X, EAP methods, PKI, certificates, and identity management integrations
- Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba APs, controllers/gateways, and Aruba Central, ClearPass, AirWave, and Central On-Prem
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, wireless networking, and Linux administration
- Strong packet capture, log analysis, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent analytical, communication, and customer management skills
- The passion and ability to learn new things, while never being satisfied with the status quo
- Flexible to work on weekends
- Work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Python, Bash, or automation tools
- Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP)
- Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP)
- Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP)
- Aruba Certified Network Security Expert (ACNX)
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent networking/security certification
