Job Summary
Monitor deliveries, inspect products for quality and temperature, and maintain receiving logs by tracking all items and reporting faults immediately. Receive, unpack, and stock restaurant supplies across shelves, racks, and service stations while performing proper food rotation. Clean and maintain storage and delivery areas to ensure all equipment remains sanitary and in good repair. Take inventory to identify items requiring reorder or replenishment.
Required Qualifications
- Basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Must have strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Constant standing and walking for the entire length of the shift
- Frequently required to reach, pull, push, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- One to three months of previous stock clerk/steward or related experience
