Job Summary
Assist with setup of food service areas in suites and club locations based on pre-orders, ensuring all assigned suites are prepared prior to events. Monitor and maintain food quality while supervising beverage service, including checking guest IDs for alcohol compliance and enforcing safe alcohol policies. Handle cash transactions accurately, fulfill product requisitions, and maintain inventory control. Ensure all serving ware is available, equipment is operable, and sanitation standards are met throughout the event. Recognize visibly intoxicated guests and take appropriate action to cut off alcohol. Maintain excellent attendance and meet company standards for service in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
- Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
- Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
- Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event.
- Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
