Job Summary
Conduct insurance premium audits via phone or virtual platforms to determine accurate premium exposure based on policyholder operations. Review payroll records, financial statements, and business documentation to verify classification codes and exposure data. Identify discrepancies between reported and actual operations, then contact policyholders to collect necessary audit documentation. Prepare audit reports in accordance with company guidelines while maintaining accurate records within audit systems. Collaborate with Premium Audit Coordinators to support audit readiness and communicate findings to internal stakeholders. Meet production and quality standards while adhering to regulatory and client-specific audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in premium audit, insurance operations, or accounting
- Knowledge of payroll and financial documentation
- Strong analytical and documentation review skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple audit assignments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related audit systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
