Job Summary
Premium Auditor investigates financial records of insured businesses to ensure correct classifications and compliance with policy terms, with responsibilities including auditing Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies, preparing audit documentation, communicating results to insureds and the home office, and scheduling audits. The role is hybrid, primarily work-from-home with 2-4 days of travel per week to audit locations, and 2-3 remote audit days per week. Requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent with two years of premium auditing experience, proficiency in Excel/Word, and a valid driver’s license. Hybrid arrangement includes travel to multiple audit locations and remote audit work. Compensation includes billable-hour pay in the $44-$46 range plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent
- two years’ performing premium audits or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial documents
- General PC knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Maintain automobile insurance while employed with bodily injury limits equal to or greater than $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident or $300,000 combined
