Job Summary

Premium Auditor conducts insurance premium audits for Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by auditing policyholder records and applying manual rules and company standards. Travel to multiple audit locations is required, averaging 2–4 days per week in the assigned territory, with a hybrid work arrangement (work from home and remote audits 2–3 days per week). Prepare for audits, identify required information, schedule audits efficiently, communicate with insured via phone/email/mail, examine records to determine correct classifications, and prepare and explain audit results to the insured and home office. Strong communication skills, data gathering, and documentation of operations are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent
  • two years performing premium audits or equivalent
  • ability to read, analyze and interpret financial documents
  • computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus
  • valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
  • maintain automobile insurance with specified limits
