Job Summary
Review documentation submitted via customer portal and verify classification codes by contacting policyholders and agents. Identify discrepancies between pre-audit codes and statements, then conduct research on Bureau websites and call centers to resolve issues. Summarize audit findings using company software to justify classification codes and create worksheets for payroll verification. Process final audit transactions and forward disputes to the resolution team while responding to inquiries regarding the premium audit process and Finance workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Finance or Accounting from four-year college or university
- Some transferrable premium audit experience or sufficient combination of education and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Ability to be proficient on applicable databases, systems, and vendor software programs
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports and professional business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where some limited standardization exists
- Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
