Job Summary
Conduct code compliance reviews for ADA, local, state, and federal building regulations while performing forensic investigations of incident sites involving stairs, ramps, walkways, lighting, and surfaces. Reconstruct accidents using field measurements, photos, and 3D modeling techniques to evaluate the standard of care for design professionals, contractors, and property owners. Review construction documents, contracts, and maintenance records to identify defects or negligence. This role supports case outcomes at Colorado or Texas offices for an industry-leading construction and forensic consulting firm. Candidates must hold an active GC, PE, or AIA license and possess five or more years of experience in forensic consulting, building inspections, or code compliance analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in forensic consulting, building inspections, or code compliance analysis
- Active GC, PE, or AIA license
- Proven business development experience, including client relationship management and project acquisition
