Job Summary
Premier Truck Technician / Mechanic leading diagnostics and repairs for medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks. Oversees precision diagnostics and repairs, provides guidance and mentorship to other technicians, and upholds safety, quality, and professionalism. Responsibilities include troubleshooting engines, transmissions, axles, steering, brakes, clutches, electrical and air systems, and executing preventive maintenance. Utilizes state-of-the-art tools, factory training, and has access to leadership opportunities to grow technical capability and team performance. Paccar-certified technicians have option of four 10-hour shifts. Location: Anderson, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 7 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic trouble-shooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair
- Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred
- Basic computer knowledge. Cummins and MX software experience preferred
- Self-motivation and assertiveness
- Ability to work under little or no supervision
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Must provide own tools
