Job Summary
Coordinate operational and academic needs for the campus, including support services, testing, attendance, facilities, and academic requirements. Assist the Campus Director with implementing the academic program, disciplining students, supervising faculty, and mentoring staff to foster a positive school culture. Manage resources to ensure a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment while collaborating with faculty, parents, and community members to address diverse interests. Evaluate educational programs for conformance to state and school board standards, interpret student data, and resolve complaints or problems in accordance with policies. Perform special projects during and after normal business hours as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited College or University
- 4+ years of successful teaching experience
- Advanced knowledge of federal and state education laws
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to learn teaching curriculum software programs and instruct others on the utilization
- Ability to understand the individual needs of each student and train others on the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Clear understanding of goal setting for students and the individualized approach
- Ability to communicate with all levels of students, parents, teachers, the community, and home office staff
- Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and student data such as diagnostic test results, state assessments scoring, transcripts, and grade point average
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Teaching certificate or school administrator certificate
- At least 2 years of experience working in the Premier Academic System
