Job Summary
Premier Banker role in Cranston, RI builds and maintains a mass affluent client portfolio through proactive outreach, needs-based conversations, and collaboration with internal partners to deliver banking solutions, loans, and wealth referrals. The role requires in-depth knowledge of banking and credit products, adherence to regulatory and compliance policies (AML/CIP), and active NMLS registration; successful candidates manage complex client relationships, educate clients on products, coordinate with Wealth/Commercial/Lending teams, and drive proactive client engagements while upholding TD’s service standards and risk controls.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED (required)
- Bachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years financial / banking experience
- Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry) upon hire
- SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) exam strongly preferred
- Life & Health license preferred
- Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under Regulation Z and SAFE Act requirements
- Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS
- Background check and credit report check required by federal law
