Job Summary
Teach engaging elementary mathematics lessons (Grades K–3) in English using the Think Academy curriculum while delivering high-quality in-person instruction that fosters student confidence. Identify individual learning needs to provide personalized academic support, grade assignments, and maintain proactive communication with parents regarding progress. Assist with student enrollment, customer service, and marketing initiatives by collaborating on recruitment events and analyzing operational data to identify improvement opportunities. Available for weekday later afternoon and weekend shifts, this role offers a stepping stone to leadership within the education industry.
Required Qualifications
- You must be authorized to work in the United States
- You must be able to commute to teach in-person at one of our San Jose Cupertino Campuses
- Available and willing to work during weekday later afternoon and weekends
- Strong knowledge and understanding of math concepts and problem-solving techniques
- Proficiency in utilizing technology for instructional purposes
- Responsible, reliable, and a team player to effectively collaborate with other teachers and staff
- Patient, empathetic, and motivated to inspire students
Desired Qualifications
- Prior math teaching or general teaching experience is not required, but it is highly preferred
- Passionate about teaching and education industry, with a mission to provide better education to promote social development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
