Job Summary
Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of Pre-K and Kindergarten children. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly schedules of activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving. Read books with children and actively engage with them at their level while ensuring constant supervision in all facility areas. Maintain emergency procedures and keep equipment and facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. Communicate with parents regarding program expectations, activities, and child progress while fostering open relationships with staff and management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Early Education
- 1yr + in an educational setting
- Positive communicator
- Able to follow a provided daily schedule for the students
- Reliable worker to create a consistent routine for the students
- Must be able to pass a mandatory background screening
- Annual professional development required
