Job Summary
Execute retail strategies to increase Preferred Program households and fulfill customer needs through consultative sales processes. Build deep relationships with mass affluent prospects by conducting needs-based assessments, utilizing telemarketing, and leading community seminars. Maintain a well-developed knowledge of the complete product line while simplifying complex financial concepts for clients. Provide guidance to the Financial Center team on referral activities and consistently meet investment sales and referral goals. Manage risk by monitoring and reporting concerns within the bank's risk appetite while operating within prescribed policies. Maintain a professional image during local and occasional overnight travel to support sales and motivational activities.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in a sales environment
- Experience in financial industry
- Consultative selling skills certification
- Series SIE license
- Series 6 license
- Series 63 license
- Insurance licenses
- Series 65 license (for external hires within 90 calendar days of hire)
- Ability to build and maintain a revenue-producing book of business in the mass affluent segment
- Ability to present a professional image
- SAFE Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
- Some local travelling
- Occasional overnight travel
