Job Summary
Preferred Banker responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of high-value customers across bank branches, driving growth through deposit products, consumer/home lending, investments, and credit management. Proactively identify financial goals and needs, build relationships through pre-set appointments, outside calling, Centers of Influence, referrals, and a disciplined sales process; educate customers on optimizing bank technology and deepen relationships with cross-selling of banking products and services. Maintain knowledge of products/services/policies to provide excellent service, demonstrate strong sales, relationship-management and communication skills, and adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory procedures. Office-based roles with a hybrid work arrangement offering potential in-office and at-home work, with remote opportunities available as described by the hiring team.} ,
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years customer service and sales in banking, financial services or goal-driven retail sales with emphasis on investment or lending and sales experience
- FINRA Licenses (must have at least 3 of the following in active status: Series 6 or 7; Series 63 or 66; State Life and Health Insurance License; SIE)
- If not all 5 licenses, must acquire remaining 2 within 120 days of hire
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) and 2+ years in banking/financial services (preferred)
- Ability to drive sales and manage a book of business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with technology (mobile/online banking)
- Knowledge of deposit products
