Job Summary
Night shift production worker responsible for cutting kits from fiberglass, wood and bulk materials and assembling them for lamination. Reads blueprints, schematics and bills of materials to supply materials for boat production. Operates and maintains jig, band and table saws, routers, grinders and electric shears; uses templates and blueprints to ensure materials are cut to spec and assembled into kits for various boat lines. Follows the daily production schedule, maintains safety and quality standards, records activities, and works as part of a team on the shop floor in a non-climate controlled environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Read blueprints, schematics and Bills of Material
- Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written directions
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled shop environment and wear PPE
- Ability to work night shift (4:30pm-3:00am) and overtime as needed
