Job Summary
Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment for water and wastewater systems, including motors, generators, and industrial machinery. Perform beginner-level diagnostic tests, lubricate pumps and motors, and update work orders in the CMMS system. Learn to use condition assessment tools like vibration analysis and infrared thermography while maintaining tools, parts, and inventory. Adhere to safety guidelines, manage attendance, and communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. A valid Texas Driver's License is required, and candidates must reside within a thirty-minute response time of the Service Center.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Must reside within a thirty-minute response time of the NBU Service Center as measured by an internet mapping tool
