Job Summary
Conduct ultrasonic and thermography testing on equipment to identify potential issues before failure, while completing oil analysis to support preventative maintenance strategies. Assist contractors with vibration and annual thermography activities, then create detailed reports from predictive testing results to initiate corrective work orders. Prioritize these orders based on equipment criticality and failure timelines, coordinating with planners to ensure timely completion. Maintain predictive maintenance databases, develop testing routes, and train technicians on alignment and tool usage. Load and maintain predictive maintenance software while following all safety policies. High school diploma required; experience with predictive testing helpful. Located in Darien, Wisconsin.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of ultrasonic testing, thermography, oil analysis, or willingness to learn
- Understanding of maintenance systems, work orders, and preventative maintenance practices
- Strong problem-solving skills to address equipment issues and interpret test results
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with maintenance and operations teams
- Comfortable working with computer systems, databases, and maintenance software
- Dependable attendance and attention to detail in completing assigned work
- Works with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
