Job Summary
Predictive Maintenance Specialist responsibilities include monitoring critical rotating equipment using vibration analysis, lube oil analysis, thermography, and motor testing; publishing and reviewing equipment health reports; providing technical support and direction to the Predictive Maintenance group; coordinating training and mentoring to improve reliability; developing projects to enhance equipment reliability and minimize lifecycle costs; maintaining historical equipment data; and participating in on-site inspections and troubleshooting of major rotating equipment. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent), ISO Category II+ Vibration Analyst Certification, ASNT Level 1+ Thermographer Certification, and extensive knowledge of Emerson CSI Machinery Health Manager, Bently Nevada systems, and predictive/ preventive maintenance strategies. Travel up to 50% and on-site work in the Casper/Gillette, Wyoming area are involved. Benefits and full-time, exempt status are noted in the posting. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ISO Category II or higher Vibration Analyst Certification
- ASNT Level 1 or higher Thermographer Certification
- Thorough knowledge of Emerson CSI Machinery Health Manager software and 2140 data collector
- Thorough knowledge of Bently Nevada systems including TSI, ADRE and System 1.
- Thorough knowledge of rotating equipment dynamic balancing
- Thorough knowledge precision shaft alignment of rotating equipment
- Knowledge of lube oil analysis and quality control
- Demonstrated knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
