Job Summary

Predictive Maintenance Specialist responsible for equipment condition monitoring (vibration analysis, lube oil analysis, thermography, motor testing) and publishing/viewing equipment health reports. Provide technical support to the Rotating Equipment group, develop and implement projects to optimize reliability and minimize lifecycle costs, coordinate training for plant teams, and mentor staff to improve equipment availability. Travel up to 50% to support power generation stations; onsite collaboration with plant management, maintenance, and operations to ensure effective predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • ISO Category II or higher Vibration Analyst Certification
  • ASNT Level 1 or higher Thermographer Certification
  • Thorough knowledge of Emerson CSI Machinery Health Manager software and 2140 data collector
  • Thorough knowledge of Bently Nevada systems including TSI, ADRE and System 1
  • Thorough knowledge of rotating equipment dynamic balancing
  • Thorough knowledge of precision shaft alignment of rotating equipment
  • Knowledge of lube oil analysis and quality control
  • Demonstrated knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies
  • Minimum five years of directly related experience in industrial power systems or electric utility power systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
