Job Summary

Conduct expert-level data collection, analysis, and report generation for predictive maintenance activities using thermal imaging, ultrasound, vibration analysis, and oil assessment. Develop implementation plans and schedules to apply predictive maintenance techniques at factory sites, while implementing, coordinating, and monitoring preventive and predictive procedures. Evaluate effectiveness of current processes to increase value, create training manuals, and provide on-site high-level training for technicians in ultrasound, infrared thermography, and vibration principles. Collaborate with Site Managers and Planners to establish reliability maintenance programs, develop cooperative maintenance plans, and recommend process improvements. Respond to customer inquiries and present findings to top management. Travel approximately 30% of the time. Salary range $93,609.08—$119,717.75 USD.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or completion of a four-year apprenticeship program in electrical/electronic technology, mechanical technology, or manufacturing technology; or combination of partial completion of education and a minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Electrical/electronic specialty: 5 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining factory floor equipment with emphasis on electrical/electronic systems
  • Must be proficient with basic mechanical/hydraulic concepts related to machine tools
  • Must have an excellent understanding of machine diagnostics
  • Mechanical specialty: 5 years of experience in vibration analysis or laser operations, machine alignments, and general machine tool maintenance
  • Must be proficient in troubleshooting complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
  • Must have good knowledge of electric basic circuits
  • ISO CAT II certification in Vibration
  • Level I Thermo/Infrared and Ultrasound certification

Desired Qualifications

  • ISO CAT I certification in Lubrication/Oil Analysis
  • ISO CAT III certification in Vibration
