Job Summary
Conduct ultrasonic testing, thermography, and oil analysis on equipment to identify potential issues and monitor temperatures before failure. Perform sheave alignment, laser alignment, and belt tensioning training for maintenance technicians while creating detailed reports from predictive testing results. Prioritize corrective work orders based on equipment criticality and coordinate with planners to ensure timely completion. Manage predictive maintenance databases, develop maintenance routes, and implement new practices across departments. Follow all safety policies and procedures in a manufacturing environment with high noise levels and varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with maintenance, predictive testing, or equipment analysis
- Knowledge of ultrasonic testing, thermography, oil analysis, or willingness to learn
- Understanding of maintenance systems, work orders, and preventative maintenance practices
- Strong problem-solving skills to address equipment issues and interpret test results
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with maintenance and operations teams
- Dependable attendance and attention to detail in completing assigned work
- Works with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Comfortable working with computer systems, databases, and maintenance software
- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time
- Performing consistent repetitive tasks
- Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials
