Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations of the DraftKings Exchange, ensuring reliable execution across electronic trading, market monitoring, and operational support for prediction markets. Drive real-time operational and technical support by overseeing issue resolution, identifying root causes, and partnering with Engineering to improve platform stability. Manage customer and partner relationships by supporting exchange connectivity, onboarding new participants, and resolving complex inquiries. Guide the development of operational tools for real-time monitoring of market conditions, liquidity, and trading performance. Analyze data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and implement scalable processes that strengthen market integrity and operational efficiency. This role requires at least five years of experience in market or exchange operations within a regulated environment. Full-time position with a US base salary range of $104,000 to $130,000 plus bonus and equity. Flexibility to support shift coverage is required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in market operations, exchange operations, trading operations, market surveillance, financial markets, sportsbook trading, or a similar operational environment
- Deep knowledge of exchange and market structure concepts, including order books, matching engines, liquidity, market states, trading dynamics, and operational risk management
- Proven experience leading cross-functional operational initiatives, improving complex processes, and delivering scalable solutions in a fast-paced, regulated environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and business partners and communicate operational insights to senior stakeholders
- Experience using data to evaluate operational performance, prioritize improvements, and support strategic decision-making
- A passion for prediction markets, exchange operations, sports trading, or financial markets, with the flexibility to support shift coverage as needed
- As a condition of employment, a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency
