Job Summary
Collaborate with Business Development, Estimating, and Operations on project approaches and deliverables during the preconstruction phase. Assemble preconstruction deliverables, develop master project schedules, and lead the Value Management and constructability review processes. Coordinate client requests, obtain necessary permits, and participate in contract negotiations and proposal presentations. Provide competitive estimates, gather historical cost data, and lead the transition of projects to the construction phase. Prepare schematic estimates and guide the assigned project team through procurement strategies. Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners while ensuring milestones are met under the selected delivery method.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with a strong emphasis on management
- Minimum of 5 years of preconstruction management or estimating experience
- Knowledge of building systems and the construction process
- Proven ability to work efficiently as a leader of a team
- Must be proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position majority of the time
- May need to occasionally move around the inside of the office to access file cabinets, manage copiers and other business materials, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as iPhone & iPad, copy machine, or printer
- Occasional need to lift or move up to 20 lbs within an office/field environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Destini software is a plus
