Preconstruction Manager

Job Summary
Lead preconstruction estimating for commercial projects; prepare detailed estimates across design stages (Program/Conceptual, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents); compile quantity take-offs and estimated costs for labor, materials, and equipment; develop self-performed-work estimates; evaluate pricing for trades; assemble Bid Package Scope Analysis and manage the subcontractor solicitation process; present budgets to clients and design teams; coordinate with Owners, Architects/Engineers, and subcontractors; supervise estimating teams, establish schedules, and ensure accuracy of bid submissions; familiarity with MC2, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, BlueBeam, iSqFt, Outlook, and Microsoft Office; strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills; adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks; knowledgeable about design/bid/constructability processes and value engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in commercial construction estimating for public, private or federal projects is required
- Significant knowledge and experience on CM/GC, CMaR, Design Build projects, complex competitive bid projects, conceptual estimating and preconstruction services
- Proven track record of success working with operations, upper management and external Owners/Architects/Engineers/Subcontractors
- B.S. Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or Civil Engineering
