Job Summary
Renovations Preconstruction Manager for The Siegel Group to oversee preconstruction activities across national renovation programs, including FFE takeoffs, site surveys, room-type identification, scope of work development, budgeting, GC/vendor bid management, and multi-project coordination. The role involves translating room layouts into material orders, coordinating owner-provided materials, exporting and formatting survey data for takeoffs, creating room-matrix packets, developing site-specific scopes of work and budgets, managing bid processes with GCs, and leading project management activities from start to closeout across multifamily/hospitality renovations. Requires strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables), SharePoint experience, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and a data-driven approach to manage multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of construction experience in multifamily housing or hospitality
- 5 years of experience in construction and renovation estimating
- 3 years of multi-site field and/or project management experience
- Meticulous, data-driven approach
- Collaborator who is willing to pitch in and support others
- Relentless focus on achieving results and completing tasks of all sizes
- Ability to read and understand construction documents and plans and develop accurate scopes of work based on design intent
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and balance multiple daily responsibilities
- Initiative-taking and able to motivate others
- Lead meetings, presentations, and project groups
- Ability to read and interpret full sets of development drawings
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with all phases of the construction lifecycle
- Detailed knowledge of construction practices and industry standards
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP formulas and PivotTables
- Strong organizational, communication, and people skills
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
