Job Summary
Lead preconstruction for a portfolio of Special Projects in a Vancouver-based role, serving as the primary client contact during preconstruction. Develop budgets, schedules, and execution strategies; identify constructability issues, logistics challenges, and undocumented conditions; support tendering, trade procurement, and contract negotiations; collaborate with Estimating, Operations, and Safety teams; and lead project handover to Operations once awarded. Strong emphasis on risk identification and solution development before construction begins. Requires 8+ years as a Project Manager on tenant improvements/renovations, experience with Procore, BIM knowledge considered an asset, and solid client-facing communication. Construction or Engineering diploma/degree preferred; RRSP matching and comprehensive benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years as a Project Manager on tenant improvements and/or renovation projects
- Strong preconstruction experience on active or occupied buildings
- Solid understanding of sub-trades and scopes of work
- Ability to review drawings/specs and identify risks and opportunities
- Experience with Procore and standard PM / scheduling tools
- Strong client-facing communication skills
