Preconstruction Manager

Job Summary
Intake and steer construction opportunities through the RFP stage, coordinating with corporate operational leadership and the Estimating team to submit comprehensive proposals. Review project documentation for quality and constructability, identify required deliverables, and manage the pre-construction timeline to ensure on-time, high-quality client submissions. Actively manage client relationships, evaluate potential risk factors, and coordinate constructability resolutions while developing preliminary construction schedules. Monitor design progress for compliance with cost, schedule, and quality criteria to revise proposals and resolve issues.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Adept at problem-solving in a manner that avoids conflicts between parties
- Represent the company in a positive manner
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred multidisciplinary experience in several (but not all) of the following areas: Preconstruction, Estimating, and Operations
- Estimating and scheduling experience
- Experience using computer-based estimating systems
