Preconstruction Manager

Preconstruction Manager leads front-end activities from master planning to preconstruction, oversees design team and estimators, develops budgets and schedules, and manages risk to ensure projects move into construction. This role focuses on long-range planning, cost control via Target Costing, procurement strategy, and client relationship development, with responsibilities including developing design documentation, establishing BOSC criteria, conducting feasibility and site assessments, and ensuring quality conformance across design deliverables. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Blue Beam, Acrobat, Planswift, and MS Project/Primavera is expected, along with strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills. The position may serve as Project Executive during construction and requires independent workload management and the ability to mentor junior staff.
