Job Summary
Preconstruction Manager responsible for guiding the preconstruction process from concept through design to contractor selection, ensuring client budgets are maintained, phasing and contracting requirements are implemented, and design teams stay on schedule. Collaborates with Project/Program Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Clients to align services with project goals. Oversees estimates, drawing/spec reviews, and construction documents; maintains estimating records; leads design/preconstruction meetings with Owners and design teams; supports business development and participates in related events; travel up to 15%. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field, 5-7 years of relevant experience, proficiency in MS Office, and a valid driver’s license. LEED AP preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- 5-7 years of experience within a Pre-construction/Estimating environment, working with large commercial or industrial projects
- Advanced knowledge of principles and practices of construction cost estimating, conceptual budgeting, and scheduling
- Proficient in MS Office
- Valid Driver's License Required
- LEED AP preferred
