Job Summary
Data Center Preconstruction Manager leads the preconstruction process for mission-critical facilities, owning budget, schedule, and quality. Responsibilities include preparing/reviewing price and cost proposals and specifications, developing scope within proposals, creating price work-up sheets, reviewing labor rates and productivity, pricing materials and equipment, validating make-up and mark-ups, assisting with sales proposals, interfacing with Project Managers, negotiating with subcontractors, developing cost estimates from engineering drawings, conducting material take-offs, and accumulating historical cost data to inform future estimates. Requires experience with construction services for data center facilities, an MEP/electrical/mechanical background, and a Bachelor's degree (preferred). Proficiency in MS Office and estimation software (e.g., Timberline, CMIC) is desired; military veteran experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Construction Services for Data Center Facilities a Must
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Construction a plus
- 5-10 years of experience in performing Cost Estimates, Reviewing Contractor's Price and Cost Proposals for Critical Facilities engineering and construction projects
- MEP / Electrical / Mechanical Systems background

- Previous military veteran experience with Electrical/Mechanical is a plus
