Job Summary
Plan the build, set up CNC equipment, and operate milling, turning, grinding, and EDM machines to create precision tools, dies, and fixtures from blueprints and schematics. Diagnose wear, repair, and rebuild existing tooling to extend life while verifying tolerances through careful inspection and measurement. Partner with engineering and production teams to enhance tool design, record specifications and maintenance history, and maintain a safe work area following all protocols. This role supports production at the Jonesboro facility by crafting the tools that shape products.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands-on experience as a Toolmaker or in a comparable role within manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Strong knowledge of machining methods and tooling, including CNC operations
- Sharp problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced setting
- Clear communication skills
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
