Job Summary
Oversee and direct all functions of the service facility, supervising and mentoring Repair Technicians while coordinating workload with the Midwest Service Center. Provide technical guidance to support sales by answering questions and formulating cost and schedule estimates for spindle repairs. Schedule and assign repairs based on technician proficiency, review final repair reports to ensure standards are met, and evaluate spindle cause of failure to recommend improvements. Review and finalize spindle evaluation reports to determine repair costs for both purchased components and labor.
Required Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of super precision rolling element bearing application in high speed rotating equipment
- A mechanical or electromechanical background of experience capable of performing engineering / calculations of rotating equipment machine elements
- Proficiency in super precision rolling element bearing engineering and application
- Experience in bearing and mechanical component failure analysis
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be well organized and committed to excellence
- A team player who is committed to customer service and adding value
