Job Summary
Learn precision welding techniques (TIG ID/OD, Laser ID, and marking) to translate engineering drawings into precise components, gain Operator Authorization(s), and monitor tooling/machines to maintain quality. You’ll use micrometers, verniers, and leak-check equipment for part inspection, perform basic data-entry of labor transactions, and follow documented work instructions to meet exact specifications. Training will be provided to develop skills in a stable, collaborative manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes attention to detail, the ability to read drawings, basic computer literacy, and the readiness to contribute to a team focused on quality in aerospace/defense/energy applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- No experience necessary - we'll train you
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and labor transaction systems
- Bonus if you have dependability, manufacturing experience, microscopes or vision systems experience, ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues
