Job Summary
Conduct agronomic solutions and technical support for John Deere Precision Ag Technology, Operations Center, and Precision Upgrades Equipment. Deliver employee training on software tools, manage precision data services, and drive adoption of new offerings through analytics and machine optimization. Lead agronomic trials to create local data outcomes, promote Harvest Profit utilization, and execute strategic initiatives using reporting metrics to grow Engaged Acre and Highly Engaged Acre. Serve as the internal and external dealership specialist for the Precision Ag product line while collaborating with the department to optimize customer farm management tools. Drive billable time tracking and support customer clinics, pre-Expo meetings, and John Deere Days.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in an agricultural-related role
- Prior experience with JD technology and support
- Prior experience in a similar customer support role
- Extremely organized
- Sensitive to deadlines and goals within dealership
- Driven to achieve results
- Highly attentive to detail and accuracy
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to deal with and effectively resolve challenging customer issues
- Analytical and problem solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to squat, bend, climb, lifting, reaching, twisting, standing, sitting and repetitive keyboarding for long durations of time
- Ability to work with PC, online content, manuals and close detailed work
- Ability to drive short and long distances
- Ability to control machinery as outlined in operator manuals
- Ability to work in extreme weather, fumes, airborne particles and moving mechanical parts
- Ability to grasp and manipulate tools and office equipment
- Hand-eye coordination for controls
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with JD technology and support is preferred
