Job Summary
Precertification Specialist (Temporary Placement) handles precertification/preauthorization data input from physician offices and insurance companies. Requires healthcare experience (prefer Radiology) with medical terminology knowledge and typing 50 wpm. Education: associate degree preferred. 6-month anticipated duration. Full-time, Day shift. Salary range $24.14-$30.17/hour; pay discussed with experience and licensure. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA, 6 holidays, PTO, retirement plan, EAP, and other voluntary benefits. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred
- Healthcare experience required (Radiology preferred)
- Knowledge of medical coding preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge required
- Minimum 2-3 years of healthcare or physician office experience in obtaining and handling pre-authorization
- Typing and/or keyboarding at a minimum of 50 wpm
