Preceptor - Caswell Developmental Center

Preceptor in the Staff Development Department trains Health Care Technicians, leads New Employee Orientation, maintains training records for the division, and serves as a Certified CPR Instructor. The role also conducts Epic/eMerge EHR training as a campus Credential Trainer, oversees documentation of employee training, and supports policy-in-servicing and interdepartmental coordination. Required competencies include clear verbal and written communication, proficiency with computers, ability to follow lesson plans, CPI training readiness, and experience with Epic or other Electronic Health Records. Work hours are 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with possible second/third shift observations to complete training tasks; physical ability to lift 50 pounds is noted in duties.
