Job Summary
Conduct precast product manufacturing by setting up and operating basic machine tools while maintaining a clean and safe work area. Execute verbal and written instructions from the Foreman to complete jobs timely for shipment, lifting raw materials and finished items manually or via hoists. Perform pre-operation equipment inspections and report identified issues, adhering to all safe work practices and procedures. Read and interpret work instructions to ensure efficient production. Work the straight night shift with a focus on prioritization, teamwork, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards and following all safe work practices
- A focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem solving and teamwork
- Ability to exert 80 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Average proficiency in mathematics
- Good visual acuity
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of work experience in a production environment
