Precast Laborer

Job Summary
Precast Laborer responsible for designing and building forms, pouring concrete, then spreading and smoothing it using trowels or other tools. May also apply stains to finish the concrete and conclude with waterproofing and sealants. Follow OSHA and H&K safety policies while producing durable concrete finishes, including forming expansion joints, edge molding, and reinforcing with wire mesh; duties include monitoring curing and ensuring quality finishes in a heavy civil/construction setting in Collegeville, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- One month of related experience and/or training
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Problem solving
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
Desired Qualifications

- Experience in heavy civil construction or precast cement preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
